He has his CPA license and has worked for the last 25+ years controlling expenses for a multi-billion-dollar bank. Dallas County will spend over $80 million in fiscal year 2025-2026. We need a CPA watching!
Dave's Platform
1. Limit spending to legitimate County expenses. We don’t need “nice to have” extras.
2. Control salary expense through informing HR of the expectations. No double or triple pay raises for staff.
3. Freeze property taxes on residential and business properties for one year. This has a multiplying effect for future years.
